Follow these instructions carefully to achieve the best results.
Take the belt with thermo-elements out of the plastic bag. Insert the thermo-elements into the pockets of the belt and seal the pockets. In order for the device to function correctly, it must be worn in the right place. The belt should be worn around the head, with the pockets at the back (see the picture). If you are using the device to treat colds or blocked sinuses, wear the thermo-elements over your forehead (see the picture).
The cotton pockets should be in tight contact with your skin.
Ideally, you should wear the device as much as possible, for 3 months or longer, even after the pain is gone and troubling symptoms have disappeared. It is particularly beneficial to wear the device at night.
You can take the device off during the day but long interruptions should be avoided because they may reduce the efficiency of the treatment.
Looking after the device
When you wash the belt, take the thermo-elements out of the pockets first. Wash it delicately; do not exceed a temperature of 40°C. You must not dry the belt on a radiator. Do not take the thermo-elements out of their protective wrapping and do not wash them. Keep the device away from sources of heat and do not expose to chemicals or detergents. Do not wear the device, while showering or swimming.
